3 tips for pool maintenance
pH
Before adding chlorine granules or tablets to the pool water, measure the water pH; when the pH level differs from the norm of 7.2-7.4, then the chlorine will not work effectively and its consumption will increase.
Cyanuric acid
All tablets and granules contain cyanuric acid, when you use it for a long time (6 months or more) you must change some of the water (top up) otherwise the chlorine will stop working when the acid level reaches 30 ppm.
Chlorine tablets
For daily disinfection, use tablets placed in a skimmer or float. The tablet dissolves slowly and does not quickly increase chlorine levels. One tablet is designed for 20-30 m3 of water for 4-7 days.
